Meeting Lobby Updates

2019-Parabol-New-Lobby

Two frequently requested features have been additional meeting types and the ability to have multiple meetings running at the same time for the same team. On the way to providing each of these features is a redesign of the place meetings begin: the Parabol Meeting Lobby.

2019 Parabol New Lobby

The new Parabol Meeting Lobby has some nifty new features. Here’s what’s to know:

Optional social check-in

When holding async retrospectives, you want to cut right to the chase. Now you can skip the social check-in phase.

Many meeting types

You can now pick what kind of meeting you’d like to start. Soon, we’ll add new types like 1:1s, decision-making, and more.

Coming soon: additional meeting customization

The new Parabol Meeting Lobby will also be the place for setting your team’s meeting configuration preferences such as:

  • an option to make reflections anonymous or not (e.g. complete transparency is a cultural value for some organizations)
  • an ability to build your own meeting type by selecting a custom order of available meeting phases
