Head of Product-Led Sales
& Customer Success

A fully-remote position, work from anywhere

$100k - $160k USD * 0.0% - 0.2% Equity

In this role, you'll build relationships with users to drive revenue, influence product development and prevent churn, and also guide a team responsible for revenue growth and customer success.

You Are:

  • 7+ years experience working in account management, customer success, business development or similar, with experience leading teams and coaching others
  • Energized by consultative sales processes and product-led growth (PLG), not by hyper-competitive environments or traditional sales practices (you won’t find those here!)
  • Thoughtful about building customer relationships from initial contact, through contract negotiations, expansion, renewal, and customer success 
  • Motivated by helping team members succeed
  • Not shy to ask uncomfortable questions
  • Relationship-oriented, thoughtful, and enjoy helping others
  • Data-driven, iterative, and experimentally minded
  • Bonus points for: experience with freemium products, B2B SaaS, Enterprise Sales, self-hosted products, government sales processes, and/or Open Source Software 


Commitment & Accountabilities: 

  • Full-time employment
  • Working with Head of Growth to define priorities (segments, stages, accounts, etc.) and goals for the team, reviewing data on progress to prioritize experiments and evolve our bottom-up sales motion 
  • Recommending the size and skill mix of the sales and success  team to the Head of Growth based on lead volume, business goals, and other business factors
  • Maintaining and developing a bench of sales, account management and/or customer success talent
  • Managing relationships with some accounts, from initial contact through renewal and expansion
  • Setting the pace for the Sales team, including defining meeting schedules and managing sprint planning and experimentation
  • Providing input to Head of Growth and Product Lead on pricing, packaging, and partnership opportunities
