#475 – Cycle 12 Demo

Friday Ship #475 | January 23rd, 2026

Computer keyboard with colorful lighting effect

This week we had our demo for Product Cycle 12. The team has been off to the races in 2026! It’s always fun to have a show-and-tell of what we’ve been working on. It’s great to get a round of feedback from the team. Here’s the full list of new and upcoming features:

⌨️ Database keyboard shortcuts

Databases are now fully navigable using the keyboard. This update makes using databases a breeze including accessing column menus and adding new entries.

🔐 SCIM Provisioning

We’re happy to release our first SCIM implementation. Enterprise account admins can now provision, update, and de-provision users.

💻 OAuth 2.0 API enhancements

We’ve introduced a beta implementation of an OAuth 2.0 API. Software admins will be able to set up custom integrations with Parabol using GraphQL queries and mutations.

🏞️ Improved image blocks in pages

Users now have better options for controlling the size and layout of images in Parabol Pages.

💽 Rebuilt data infrastructure

We leverage data from sales, marketing, product usage, and operations to improve the product and make the best decisions to maintain a healthy business. We’ve paid down some tech debt long overdue and improved our data backend all around.

📊 Enhanced insights into Pages & Insights adoption

We’re working closely with customers to better understand their needs around knowledge management and how they use AI insights to enhance their workflows.

🔎 Search backend

We’re working on an all-new search engine for Parabol, making it easy to find information from pages and meetings. We’ve overhauled our backend to unlock a semantic and fast UX.

↕️ Ranking app prototype

We’ve got a prototype and designs for a stand-alone ranking app that teams, family and friends can use to sort out the most important things like top product ideas, ultimate vacation destinations, or what’s the best movie.

Thanks to our Product team (Georg, Jordan, Matt, Terry, Rafa) for the dedicated progress here and supporting each other with reviews and feedback!
